The summit, “Building Bridges, Removing Barriers,” will bring together a number of nationally renowned racial equity advocates whose primary objective will be to examine the ongoing systemic oppression of Black children, youth, families, and communities, and to commit to creating dynamic solutions for reducing racial inequities, thereby improving outcomes for all populations. A focus of the discussion will be on child welfare, with an understanding that the experiences of Black people look the same across every helping system in the United States.
