Sherwynn Patton
Sherwynn Patton is passionate about building authentic relationships, promoting peace and intervening when violence has occurred by utilizing restorative justice practices. Sherwynn and his wife Kim Patton lead Life Anew Restorative Justice. Life Anew focuses on building healthier communities by eliminating disparities that disproportionately impact people of color. This work has led Life Anew to engaging in community violence intervention and prevention, restorative practices in schools and cultivating culture in various sectors of cities. Sherwynn believes in addressing the communities most pressing needs by developing relational ecosystems as a means of city transformation and sustainable outcomes.
Sherwynn Patton co-authored, "Restorative Discipline Practices, A Journey In Implementation by A Community Of Texas Educators", where he outlines the process of developing a relational ecosystem that can lead to city transformation. In addition, Sherwynn and his wife Kim co-produced the award winning, "Chasing Smoke Documentary", which outlines the implementation of restorative practices in schools.
